November Venue of the Month: William IV

The William IV, one of London’s most historic pubs, is your go-to destination in NW London.

Built during the reign of the Sailor King, William IV, our pub has been a proud feature of Harrow Road for centuries.

William IV was known as The Sailor King having served in the Navy in the years before his reign. There are plenty of nautical decorations throughout the pub and hotel. Our Clarence room also pays tribute to William’s time as Duke of Clarence and the Nelson Room marks his friendship with Admiral Horatio Nelson.

Refurbished in 2019 by the current owner this Kensal Green landmark building was established as a pub back in 1837. The local church archives has mentions of the inn as the last stop on their way to London.

We currently run happy hours on Fridays on our cocktails, this is great opportunity for newly engaged couples to come down to our wonderful pub and taste cocktails in our cosy atmosphere.

If you are looking for the perfect pace to celebrate your day. Our dedicated team are amazing when it comes to organising a bespoke reception and delivering it smoothly in a friendly and professional fashion.

But don’t just take our word for it, here are the testimonies by two of our families who recently celebrated with us.

“Hi Diogo
Your team exceeded our expectations and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day. A really big thank you to Lily for all her guidance before the event, also her amazing organisation on the day. The food was exceptional and I still keep getting comments on how amazing everything tasted even from some of the fussy eaters.  Well done to the Chef!  My daughters wedding would not have run as smoothly without the hard work of the entire team. If we had 7* in the K I would definitely give that.
Once again a big thanks to the William IV Team
Best Wishes
Allison”

“Hello

Love Laura”
