Old Marylebone Town Hall

Following the current national lockdown, ceremonies are not able to take place until further notice unless under exceptional circumstances, for example, an urgent marriage where one of those getting married is seriously ill and not expected to recover, or is to undergo debilitating treatment or life-changing surgery. They can only take place with up to 6 people (anyone working i.e registrars are not included).

The Ceremony Rooms

The Knightsbridge Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE - Usually 30 seated guests

The Soho Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 5 (or 6 if two guests are from the same household / in a social bubble – will sit on sofa and won’t be 1m apart) plus couple and registrars - Usually 20 guests (13/4 seated and 6/7 standing)

The Marylebone Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 6 guests plus couple and registrars - Usually 15 guests (10/12 seated and 3-5 standing)

Westminster Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 13 guests (the Registrars, couple, up to 2 photographers and up to 4 musicians will not be included in the guest count) - Usually 100 seated guests

The Paddington Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 6 seated guests plus couple and registrars - Usually 15 standing guests (room does have 2 seats and 3 poufees)

The Pimlico Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 7 guests plus couple and registrars (Usually 20 seated guests)

The Mayfair Room

This venue hosts ceremonies only.
Capacity: 8 guests plus couple and registrars - Usually 30 seated guests

Disabled Access

Please notify us at least 48 hours prior to your ceremony if you need disabled access.

Available via the main reception of the Sammy Ofer Centre of the London Business School.

Please download and complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPs) (PDF 320KB) for each disabled person, or those with mobility issues attending on the day and return the form to: registeroffice@westminster.gov.uk.

Disabled toilets available on the first floor with lift access.

Pick-up and drop-off point at the front of the building, but vehicles are not permitted to wait here.

Parking restricted in the surrounding streets. Privately owned multi-story car park directly opposite the Old Marylebone Town Hall. Parking fees will apply.
