No. 4 Hamilton Place was once home to the Duke of Wellington in the year before the Battle of Waterloo, starting a fascinating history of the house. August Venue of the Month: Two Temple Place

Our August venue of the month is the spectacular Two Temple Place. Perfectly positioned on Embankment, this Victorian neo-Gothic mansion was built by William Waldorf Astor, arguably the richest man in the world of his day, and his status is evident in the opulence of this remarkable venue.

The History of RSA House

The Royal Society of Arts have been based at their current home just off the Strand since 1774 and the building was specifically designed for the Society by the Adams Brothers.
