The doors are officially open

On Thursday 11th January, we proudly swung the doors of The Old Marylebone Town Hall open again after 4 years.

We welcomed guests after a £4m refurbishment to take a look around our newly decorated ceremony rooms, while enjoying delicious canapés, prosecco and listening to the beautiful sounds of a String Trio.

The seven new reception rooms are named after different parts of the borough: Westminster, Knightsbridge, Paddington, Marylebone, Soho, Pimlico and Mayfair. Have a look at our before and after images on our Facebook page.

They Said Yes

It was the festive season, you made sure every detail was just perfect, when the moment was just right you plucked up the courage and you asked your partner to marry you. AND they said YES!

Congratulations! Now what?

Well now for the fun, stressed, expensive part…just kidding. It’s only a little bit stressful. Every couple wants the wedding day of their dreams, and so they should.  There are approximately 240, 854 weddings per year in England and Wales and approximately 2,000 of those take place within Westminster.

Old Marylebone Town Hall in the Press

We are getting really excited about the reopening of the Old Marylebone Town Hall in January 2018. The diary is now open for bookings and we have already taken over 100 bookings for 2018. You can also see the newly refurbushed ceremony rooms for yourself, by registering for one of our open evenings on our website. Have a look at what’s been said in the press recently:

September Venue of the Month: No. 4 Hamilton Place

No. 4 Hamilton Place was once home to the Duke of Wellington in the year before the Battle of Waterloo, starting a fascinating history of the house. It is now the home of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Providing the finest views over Hyde Park, it sits in stylish Mayfair, the most expensive square on the Monopoly board.
